Feeling.

It's still lingering inside me. I thought it'll disappear once I wake up but no, it's still there. Glad that we shared the same feeling about the whole thing. How would I survive without this buddy? It's great to let it all out. It's great that we talked about it yesterday. Thanks alot.

Woke up with a certain emptiness. Never thought that I'll feel this way, but yeah, I did. Serious. Call me mad but I really did miss all of them. Like what Li Mei said, I was really loved in that unit. I was very fortunate. Gosh... now I really really feel like crying...

Last Day.

Mixed feelings. Part of me is happy. Part of me is sad. I’m seriously very fortunate to have a great team to teach me stuffs. Bought the team a chocolate cake. Almost cried when Nicole came over and talk to me. Yes, yes. I am emotional. 3 months is not too long and its not too short either but it has become a part of me.

The entire client servicing colleagues in Maxis asked me to stay and help them for another month. Errr… okay… I was emotional for that moment, but that doesn’t mean I will stay, you get what I mean? Chin Hooi said it was a great opportunity to learn, as I’ll work as a trainee instead of an intern. Plus, I’ll get paid! Well, I do agree with him. But somehow, I don’t think it’s a great idea afterall. Don’t ask me why. I don’t know.

Whatever it is, I’m glad they asked anyway. Kinda shows that I did a great job! :p

Chin Hooi got a Mini Disco Ball as a souvenir! Blegh. I’m obviously jealous…

Gathering.

Work was fine. Last day tomorrow. Yay! Nicole's back into office. Looks moody in the morning but by evening, she seemed fine. Asked me to extend again. NO! *pfffftttttt*

Met up with Su Yi, Ming Hui, Chia May, Mei Yin, Na and Lava for dinner. Mei Yin and Na just got back from Australia and America recently. It was madness. We were talking about stories dated back to Standard 1 and was laughing like crazy. Gosh. When was the last time we actually did that?!

TV3.

Nicole is on leave again today. Found out that her grandmother passed away. Well, this reason is definitely better than the one Chin Hooi came out with. You see, I called her on Monday with the office phone but she didn't pick up the call. So I called again, this time with my handphone. She rejected my call. I was complaining to Chin Hooi about it. His smart answer, "OH! She's having sex! That's why cannot answer!" *roll eyes*

Wrote a brief for Intan and did some follow up on the billboard.

Went to TV3 after lunch for Terence. Met up with Angela since she's working in 8TV. Bought a TV3 keychain. You must be thinking, "wtf?!" You'll understand if I tell you that I collects them. :)

Parents is off to China tomorrow. Yay! Freedom! So what's the plan for new years eve?

Noise.

Renovation suck big time. The sound of drilling and sorts are so annoying and irritating. I can hardly hear myself talking on the phone. Of all the time in the world, the company chooses to renovate now.

Nicole on emergency leave. Blegh. Just when I thought of ponteng-ing work today. Did lotsa follow up and wrote some briefs.

3 days!!

Cranberry Cooler Uncovered.

Figured out how to make Dome's cranberry cooler. Some cranberry juice, some apple juice, some sprite and some ice. Voila. Looks like Dome isn't gonna earn any money outta me. Hehehehehe. Wanna try, Cyndi Chin?

Back to work tomorrow. Sigh. Just 4 more days! Can't wait. Need to celebrate!

Where's The Snow?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

No snow in Malaysia. Darn. Wonder what it'll be like if it snows...

Shopping spree at Ikea. Bought RM4000 over worth of stuffs. 2 sofas, 3 wall shelfs, 1 chair and many, many miscellaneous accessories. Well, the Loo family is moving! What do you expect......

Took some free time to clean up my room. Just 30% done. I'll be so dead. Moving in less than a month and that's all I've boxed up.

Just got back from cousin's place. Christmas gathering. It was fun. Did the exchange present thingy.

Friday, December 24, 2004

Holidaaaaay!

The company declared today an off day! Lalalalalala...

Weee...

Super tired. Work was madness! Left office around 11.30am with Nicole. Went to Bandar Sri Damansara and met up with Jason Lo (Yen Ling, jangan jeles!) to check out a certain mobile stage unit. Was taking pictures of that mobile stage under the hot sun.

Lunch at One Utama. Nicole treated me to Japanese food. Make me so 'pai seh'. Oh, she gave me a Christmas present too. :)

After lunch, we went to Astro and RTM to send materials. Was rushing deadline. Astro by 4pm and RTM by 5pm. We almost got lost on the way to Astro and we weren't certain of the direction to RTM. Fortunately, we managed to figure out the way and got there on time. Phew.

Had an early Christmas dinner with Cyndi at TGI Friday's Subang Parade. Thanks so much for the Christmas present. Will only open it on Christmas Day itself. ;)

^ Presents! Muahahah!!

Kung Fu Hustle.

Free breakfast! Lilian bought 'tau fu far' for Chin Hooi and I this morning. Reward us for helping them move the stuffs. That's really nice of her.

Work is getting less. Spent the whole day writing the report. Did 50% already. Most likely will finish by next week.

Nicole asked me to extend my stay in BBDO and even threatened me with her internship report! She offered to help me and even show me her report, as long as I extend my stay. No way! :p

^ Christmas present from Intan, the Account Director.

Just got back from One Utama. Was watching Kung Fu Hustle. It was hilarious. Bumped into Angela. Haven't been seeing her since internship started.

Movers.

Was too tired to blog yesterday. Slept at 10pm. Don't remember when was the last time I actually slept so early.

BBDO is renovating soon so everyone are spending time to box up all the stuffs. So yours truly had to help. More like, forced to help... Anyway, so there I was, helping them to clear up all the junks, box it up and move it to somewhere else. Chin Hooi helped. Without his help, I think I'll break some bones. We were like hired movers, except that we dress better. Was pushing the trolley with boxes on top in and out of Maxis Business Unit. For that moment, we felt like the kakak...

I'm getting another phobia. This time, it's the moving phobia. For God's sake, I'm moving house soon and I haven't even box up my own stuffs and now I'm boxing up peoples'!

Nicole is too damn funny. She's giving me Fariz (the copywriter) as a reward for all my hard work. Hahaha. I rejected, obviously. I deserve more than that. :p And she was asking me if I am interested in him. I was like..huh? I told her I am interested in her instead. It shut her up and Terence was laughing all the way. Haih. Siao people.

Started on the focus group report. Need to get it done before I leave. Wrote 2 briefs for Nicole and went to RTM with Jennette to send materials. What a huge place! Thank God for Jennette otherwise I'll definitely get lost in that place. I wanted to visit the broadcasting museum but Jennette declined. We went to the souvenir shop instead. Hehehe. Bought 2 key chains for my collection.

Sick.

What a day. Diarrhoea in the morning, headache in the evening.

Didn't have enough sleep. I guess that's what contributed to the headache. Was nicely watching DVDs yesterday until 3 plus am. Wimbledon and Princess Diaries 2. Thought I can sleep a 'lil bit longer but dad chooses to wake me up at 7am to ask for fresh battery. #$%^&* And since I was up, that's when the diarrhoea chooses to strike. It's gotta be the oyster I ate for dinner...

Did verbatim for session 2 of the focus group. Finishing. Thank God.

Checked out and bought some mattresses for the new house. Can't wait to sleep on it. It's damn nice. Apparently, hotels uses that particular brand for their beds too. :)

Fcuk.

RM349 poorer thanks to the Fcuk pants. Oh well... I love that pants anyway...

RM349 is nothing as compared to Cheryl's RM600 plus. She bought 1 Lacoste polo t-shirt, 1 Mambo shirt, 1 Fcuk top, 1 Biotherm facial stuff, 1 Nici sheep soft toy and 1 Christmas present. Well, quantity wise, her spending is totally worth it...

Bumped into Yen Ling at Fcuk. Siao char bo! Make up your mind la! Choose A? Choose W? Or choose that thing? :p I got a feeling that the thing will win though... heheheheheh... am I right?

Sorry?

Sorry. It’s such an overused word. It used to mean a lot to me. Now? It’s merely a word. Ironic isn’t it? 5 posts ago, I was posting about how sorry I was.

Is sorry everything? Can a sorry make a person forget how hurt the person was? I don't know.

Disappointed. You would too if you've been counting the days for this particular day to come, and when it's finally here, it turned out to be a total disappointment. Maybe I shouldn't have placed any hope at the very first place. The more you hope, the harder you fall. When will I ever learn?

I don't want to jump to conclusion. I don't want to know why. Never. You have your reasons, I have mine.

Call me sensitive. Call me whatever. I don't care. I have the rights to be angry.

Was extremely busy today. Did verbatim for the focus group. One down, another to go. Caroline need me to email the scripts to her and apparently, we will be watching the tape together on Monday. Oh uh.

Overtime was by choice. Why wouldn't I do overtime? I've got no plans after work. Was planning to go dinner alone but thank God, at times like these, there's family members for me to rely on.

Bones and Cuts.

I think I will be KFC-phobic.

Chin Hooi and I was helping Jennette to sort out a closet full of FAs and take pictures of it. We are not done yet. Might take us all the way till end of the month. Was only sorting the mainstream products. We still have to do Chicky Club's. The posters was tempting us to eat KFC, which we did and after that, looking at the posters again almost made us puke out our lunch.

Jennette and I had tons of paper-cuts (ouch!!) and Chin Hooi had a backache from all the bending over. Well, apparently, at the end of the whole thing, the KFC people will treat us to a dinner. No KFC please!!

By the way, I almost died of heart attack. Why? Because Lilian said, "when you guys are done with these KFC things, can you come over to Maxis' and sort it too?" Blardy hell. They handled Maxis' account for dunno how many donkey years. Sort their FAs?? It'll probably flatten me! Just because BBDO is renovating. Utilising us to the max to clean up their junks.

Had dinner at Oriental Cravings, One Utama. Quite expensive but the food is good. I'm willing to pay, as long as the food is worth it. Unlike Rain Nudle House, KLCC. Expensive and it suck.

Wednesday, December 15, 2004

Ishk.

Damn. I thought it was a super plan. Stupid BBDO. Suddenly so rich, hire so many freelancers. Hello, pay us our allowance la! They hired 2 new freelancers and one of them will sit at Simon's place. Babi. There's goes my plan of using his computer for the next 2 weeks. No computer, fine. No table?! That's too much. From today onwards, I'll be bumming at Jennette's place. Funny how she used to bum at my place...

Went out with Jennette to buy party packs (!!) for Nicole. Some kinda Maxis Christmas dinner. 1st stop, Bangsar Village. Sigh. Wasted my time. Can't find anything there. 2nd stop, Mid Valley Megamall. Walked into every possible shops selling party stuffs. Instead of buying pre-packed party packs, we bought the items separately and pack it ourselves... in the taxi, on the way back to the office. Chasing for time la, what you expect. I'm not gonna stay overtime in the office just to pack party packs.

Went to charity dinner with dad and bro, Edmond, at Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Dinner was good. Surprisingly. Performance was good too. Malaysian Idols' Sofia, Vick and Dina was invited to perform. Dina's performance is damn good. Sang Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' and Christina Aguilera's 'All I Want Is You'. Showed her skills to the max.

Case study.

No. I wasn't doing the one required by college. Was doing Nicole's.

College faxed over the evaluation form. Gulp. Have to start looking busy.

Simon was on leave today so I hogged his computer. By the way, 2 new eMacs came in today. One for the new designer, Kevin and another for someone who is not in yet. The eMac is on my table. Hope whoever is coming is not coming in anytime soon! Nyeh nyeh nyeh. I wanna use the eMac!

Conducted 2nd session of the focus group. It went well. Thanks, Chin Hooi, for holding the camera. Really appreciate it.

Shit happened in office. It suck. They call it politics but I don't think so. It's not much of a politics. More like a personal hatred. The whole situation got twisted along the way and the end message is totally wrong. I can't believe it. 11 days left and this have to happen. I'm trying to be ignorant. In fact, all 4 of us are trying to be ignorant. We are just gonna do what we are supposed to do. We have to be extra careful now though. A wrong step and that's it...

Monday, December 13, 2004

Bore.

What a day. Read newspapers the whole day. Followed up on a job from Nicole. That's about it...

Had lunch in Pusat Bandar Damansara with a bunch of people. Tze Wan, Cyndi, Chin Hooi, Shieh May, Mei Kim and Vivian. Jessica and Adrian dropped by to "visit".

12 days and counting... tick tock tick tock...

Sunday, December 12, 2004

Fool.

That's what I am.

I don't know what's wrong with me. I don't know if its gonna change. I've never been caught in such situation. Yes, I was being sensitive and was thinking too much. Maybe I shouldn't have posted that message, but I did. Said and done.

I can't turn back now. I regretted.

I don't know what to say.

I don't know what I can do to make it up to you but I won't give up. I started this shit and I'm gonna clear it up.

I'm sorry.

...................

There goes another Saturday. Nothing interesting. Nothing fun. No anticipation whatsoever.

Drove all the way to Taipan with mom to check out some chinese furniture. Looks good but couldn't find the one that suits us. We need a 10-seater dining table. All those that are sold in the market are 8-seaters. Talk about the trouble of having big family.

Was online the whole day. I've got the whole world on my fingertips but nothing seemed to interest me.

Christmas is near. 2 weeks. Like every other year, Christmas is just another ordinary day. No tickets for Hong Kong. Looks like I'll stay at home and rot... and pack up some stuffs. We're moving in less than a month. There's so much to pack. My room alone could kill me. I wonder how mom's gonna box-up the whole house.

Mood.

If you know me well enough, you'll know that it's just not me to have mood swings. But I can't help it. I'm sorry.

I wasn't tired. It was a lie. The fact is I didn't like that environment. I felt like a stranger. I felt like I wasn't close to you at all. I hate the fact that we hardly talk anymore and when we talk, it's always about someone else. Maybe I was being paranoid. Maybe I was just afraid of losing the closeness we used to have. But I can't blame you. No, I won't.

MNI.

The day is over. Finally! The time was so slow moving. Didn't have anything to do at all. Thank God Chin Hooi asked me to follow him to KLCC to get some MNI stuffs for Junisa. By the time we got back, it was already 4pm. Heh.

We walked the entire KLCC but couldn't find anything nice and not crowded. Decided to eat at Dome. Expensive, but once it a while we should pamper ourselves. Sick of 'chap fan'.

I watched at really good DVD yesterday. Taegukgi, a Korean war epic. It's really good. Better than those western ones. There was this scene whereby this soldier had his stomach split open with blood oozing out and his leg blown off due to the landmine. Gross but how often do you get to see these scenes in a movie? Highly recommended. A must watch if you have this 'thing' for war epic like me. :)

Output.

The job I've been handling has already been outputted! Finally! Yay yaaaaay. Lotsa job briefs to put in my report.

Joined Nicole for a briefing session. She was briefing the BM and Tamil translator.

Clients came over to office today. Had to walk down to the nearby lorong to buy food for them. Stupid clients. Blegh. Bought all the donuts the Malay lady sold. Had to cut 'em and arrange it on a plate too. Chis...

We've decided to move into the new house on 6th January 2005. Jack, my cousin, said it's a good day for moving house. Thank God internshiT will be over by then...

Wednesday, December 08, 2004

Computer?

No computer for another 5 working days. Simon is only leaving for his holiday next Wednesday. Damn. Thought I can get rid of him this Friday. Had to borrow Jennette's computer to write brief.

How can I survive another day without computer?? I can't write briefs! I can't do nuts without a computer!

Terence is back from Bali. That guy is totally grilled. Very tanned. To the extend that it's actually shiny.

Conducted a discussion group at McDonald's. 6 respondents. Better than nothing but I'm still short of 14 respondents. I'm gonna be so dead.

Was kinda excited earlier. Was about to send out emails regarding Blique's Christmas dinner. But, sigh, when you have a plan, something will just come out from somewhere. Looks like it'll be postponed indefinitely. Just like the Port Dickson trip.

Have you ever been through the stage whereby you needed someone to talk to or just be there for you, but there aren't any? It's that time again. The time when you realised that you are all alone. No one is bothered about you. No one even cares. Sounded down, you said? Why wouldn't I be? Too many dissappointment. I tried to accept the inevitable but I can't. I'm just so tired with all those shit. Too tired. Fuck it.

Responsibility.

It wasn't easy handling a job. Many many things to follow up. Chasing creatives is a very bad experience. You'll never know when they'll snap at you and they'll delay deadlines! I was like, stuck in the middle. Clients wants the visuals, creative is not done with it. Chase chase chase.

I'm currently handling a press ad job, with Nicole's guidance, of course. Was a bumpy ride but I'm learning things. Wrote few briefs today. Some under my name, some under Nicole's.

The discussion group will be held tomorrow at McDonald's Centrepoint. Made tons of call and I can't claim the bill. Damn BBDO. Got the video camera from the AV department. No tape! The AV executive producer refuses to give me a tape and insist that Maxis Business Unit get one for me. Went back to Caroline and asked her to get a tape for me. Got f***ed for no reason. Both of them are like pushing me around. AV told me to ask Caroline. Caroline told me to ask AV. #$%^& I guess I might as well use my own tape and then transfer the stuffs into a CD. The damn company is not paying me so I'm not gonna let them take my tape for free.

I need money for the discussion group, for goodness sake! Whose money am I gonna spend if Caroline doesn't even give me a single cent??? I hate reporting to her. Always giving me those kinda look like as if I was her enemy or something...

Monday, December 06, 2004

Simon.

He's nobody special. Really. Just wanna mention him because as of today, he's officially a part of Maxis Business Unit. A category manager. He was never in the advertising line. No wonder he came in at 9am today to look for Intan. Hahahaha. Intan came in only at 11am plus. Poor guy had to wait for 2 hours. Bad news. He will be using the computer I'm currently using. Good news. He will only be here for one week then off for his holidays. Be coming back in January. Hehehe. By all means, take the computer! It sucks anyway. Hanged on me over 10 times today.

Nicole is on MC today but she sms-ed me to follow up on the brief I wrote last week. Typed a new brief and a supplementary brief for Caroline. I'm supposed to continue on the discussion group thingy this week after the stupid 'rancangan tergendala' thing last week. There's a slight change of plans though. Jennette is replaced by Li Mei. KFC commitments.

Calls calls calls. Trying to get people to attend the discussion group. This is the time when one realise that although the phonebook contains over 100 numbers, only a few you could call... or at least, have the guts to call.

Sunday, December 05, 2004

Rot.

Sunday is the boring day, hence, we call it family day.

Most of the Sundays, we'll sit at home and rot. Why? Because Malaysians from all walks of life chooses this particular day of the week to do their shoppings! Seriously, if your house is opposite One Utama, Ikea, Tesco and The Curve, you'll rather stay at home and bore the hell outta yourself.

Mom and bro managed to drop by at One Utama. I can't believe that they actually bothered to try to get into those multi level carparks. It's always full anyway. Well, it's definitely full on Sundays...

Monday again tomorrow. Since I'm required to handle 2 jobs, I guess it'll be a busy week. Funny how they actually gave me stuffs to do when I have only 18 days left on the darn internshit. This could only mean one thing. Overtime all the way until I get the jobs done. Damn. I hope I'm wrong.

Saturdays.

The routine has been broken. I guess Saturdays won't be the same anymore. Saturdays will still come, no doubt, but the anticipation won't be there. It feels so weird that I'm actually not doing the things I've been doing for the past few Saturdays. Gotta learn to get used to it. Gotta start learning on how to make alternative plans.

Make way for someone more important. That's the least a friend could do.

Caught up with Rozanna, my neighbour and childhood friend. Had a long talk. Maybe a different Saturday is good afterall. At least it gave me time to catch up with people whom I've been neglecting for too long. Can't imagine myself in a whole new environment without her. We've been through too many things together. Ups and downs. Barbies and roller blades. Bruises and scratches. The best thing of all, we grew up together. Nothing can beat that.

Made plans with Cheryl. All the way throughout the night. Dinner, Red Box and supper. Madness. She was craving for Wong Ah Wah's BBQ chicken wing so we drove all the way from Sunway Pyramid to Jalan Alor just to get it. Luckily it was worth all the hassle. Good stuffs.

Friday, December 03, 2004

Press Ad.

Got a press ad job to handle. Wrote a new brief for Zamri and Atie. This time, the brief is under my name. Gulp. Responsibility. Had to do overtime. What a nice place to "hang-out" on Friday night. Well, thank God I wasn't alone. Li Mei and Chin Hooi had to OT too. Left office at 7pm plus.

Was told that we'll have holiday on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Yay!! 18 more days of internshit to go! Can't wait!!

Thursday, December 02, 2004

RM60.

I earned that, okay! Thanks to Mindshare's focus group. Thanks to Yen Ling for inviting me. Besides the cash, I took home some magazines too. Must make the best of it considering that I took halfday leave just for it.

Oh great... just great. I lost my Ikea measurements!! Damn it. Where could I have placed it......

Mom was checking the Chinese calendar just now, finding for a suitable date to move in to the new place. Well, apparently the only suitable day is 27th of December, which is 3 weeks from now... Madness. The house is not even 100% complete yet!

Wednesday, December 01, 2004

Project.

Caroline is letting Jennette and I handle a small project. Everything from setting the questions to conducting it to writing a report. But at the moment, the rancangan is tergendala because the company has yet to get a video camera.

Terence had some copy job for me to do and I had to sit next to the Sean and brief him while he do the changes. It was a reeaaaaaaaaaaally long moment. After that, I had to do mock-ups for some registration form.

Just got back from Ikea and mamak. Was at Ikea for dinner (Chicken Bratwurst!) and to check out some furnitures and accessories for my "highly-anticipated" room. Caught my eyes on a certain reclining chair. Hope it fits in my room!
