Currently, the internet speed is slightly faster. Not that it's as fast as originally but it is better than not moving at all. I guess its because classes are starting tomorrow and many people are already sleeping. I bet you that by tomorrow afternoon, the internet speed will crawl again.
Heard from my mom that puasa has officially begun. Ohhhh, I miss that Taman Tun Puasa Bazaar. The ayam percik and those kuih-muih! I wanna go hoooooome! I've "waited" all year long for this and I'm missing it. Shit, man.
My calendar shows that I have 7 weeks left in uni. Is that it? My one year stint in New Zealand is finishing soon already? I can't wait to go home but I know I'll miss my 'family members' here. Life would be hell without each and every one of them!

Coromandel.
Before I describe my day tour to Coromandel last Tuesday, please allow me to complain about the internet first.
It's been crawling slow for almost 2 weeks and its very annoying. Funny thing is I can open some sites and I can't open many others. Assignments have been put on hold mainly because few of them requires online research. I can open entertainment/leisure sites (like Blogger) but not those that are related to my assignments. Although I am secretly glad, I am feeling rather guilty as I owe my teammates alot of assignments.
What I hate most is the apartment manager is blaming the occupants for causing the internet to crawl. WTF?! A notice had be posted up and it describes how "we" are causing the problem and how "we" should solved it by limiting "our" downloads and such. I've paid my share of accomodation fees so I am entitled to get the best services available but noooooooo!
Anyway, let's get back to the trip. Coromandel. A town about 2 hour and 30 minutes drive away from Auckland. Instead of driving straight to Coromandel, we did quite a few stops in between. Paeroa, the town where New Zealand soft drink L&P were created, lunch at KFC in a town called Thames, winery at Totara and finally Coromandel. Last stop is the beach about 30 minutes away from Coromandel.
Partially, the reason why we went on this trip is to visit the Hot Water Beach, whereby you can just dig a hole on the beach and you'll get hot water, but unfortunately we missed the low tide. We went to a regular beach instead...
If you are still wondering what 13D means, it's the apartment unit that all five of us are staying in.
Anyhow, I've uploaded some photos to my Flickr site. Go and have a look.

Wine Trail.
Beauuuuuuutiful Thursday morning.
Left at 11am and headed to West Auckland with Yohei, Kate and Vy Wen. Arrived around 30 minutes later and quickly began our first stop at a winery. Had a yummylicious lunch and tasted some good wines. Bought a Muscat (think so) champange that tasted quite good.
That purchase jump-started our buying and tasting spree. Few wineries, a belly full of wines and an empty wallet two hours later, we decided to head back to the city but not without stopping at the latest, konnonnye biggest shopping mall in Auckland. The Sylvia Park.
Not too bad considering that only Phase One is opened so far. If only its in the city centre. Sigh.
7pm now. Gonna head to Jet's place for a BBQ. Supposed to have it here in our apartment but they are repairing the pits. The new management here sucks. I think they purposely just don't want us to have an open BBQ that's why they said the pits are unavailable. Apparently, we can cook the food in our apartment then bring it down to the garden.
That's not called a BBQ, you f**king shits!

Oh So Boring.
Holiday holidaaay.
I am more "busy" this holiday as compared to previous semester's. More group works this time around and more meetings to attend.
Seriously, if I don't have such commitments I would have left NZ (wishful thinking).
I wannnnnnnnnnaaa sit back, relax, and forget about my assignments!

Nana.
My first impression of this movie = lesbian movieWell, firstly, the name Nana. Then a poster of two girls. Since I can't read Japanese (it was on the VCD cover), that was the conclusion I jumped to.
Quite a good movie, I tell you. I've never seen alot of Japanese movies in my life. Probably just a handful but I can tell you that this is a good watch.
Definitely not a lesbian movie.
And I got this theme song sung by Mika Nakashima stuck in my head.

Break!!
Semester break began 2 days earlier for me. This week I have class until Wednesday only as my Thursday lecture were cancelled (Yippee!).
As usual, I have to go through those dengki glares I get from my housemates simply because of my class schedule. Well, you can't blame me that I have a very 'organized' schedule, right? Originally, I have Mondays and Fridays off but as of this week, all my Thursday lectures are cancelled. So basically I go to class on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only.
Besides the fact that I have 4 level 7 papers this semester, I really liked this semester mainly because of my 'wonderful' schedule :)
Now that I get 2 weeks break, maybe I should continue my chinese wayang madness. Or maybe even start knitting again.
Speaking about chinese wayang, I must update my dear TVB partner-in-crime.
Mei Yin Kong, whether you are interested or not, I am still gonna tell you that the new series that my favourite onscreen couple will be filming is going to be a tragic version of "Under the Canopy of Love." Tragic version? What is that supposed to mean?!
Oh by they way, your beloved Mr. Wong is not in the confirmed cast list. Yet.
