Somehow things changed.
Somehow it became ackward.
Somehow there weren't any topic of conversation anymore.

Asian Meals.

I found frozen Kawanku roti paratha from New World supermarket!
Our dinner tonight consist of Malaysian roti paratha, Japanese curry and mashed potatoes and Korean rice cake. It was so cool! We have 3 different nationalities (Malaysia, Japan and Korea) in my apartment and we're having 3 different dishes from each of the respective country. It was definitely a great meal :D
Also, we're planning to have an "Asia Tour". Since we are from different countries, we're planning to travel continuously to each of the countries next year. The plan now is to travel from Singapore to Malaysia to Thailand to Hong Kong to Macau to Taiwan to Japan and to Korea. Accomodation and transportation would be provided by the respective host from the respective country. We are only required to pay for air ticket, food and shopping. Sounds like a great plan, huh? I hope we will really do it!

Yummy Dinner!
Tuesday's dinner consist of Thai style mussel, chop suey, beansprout with eel, stir fry beef with miso and the pathetic leftover of baked beans.
Chilli crab for Wednesday's dinner. For the first time in my life, I cleaned, chopped and cooked the crabs! I think I should just quit uni and find a chef to teach me the art of cooking.
Today's dinner. Assam laksa (the soup is obviously from the instant mix. If I can really make the assam laksa soup, then I reaaaaaally have to quit uni...)

NZ$2.00
Woot wooot. I won NZ$2.00 from the casino jackpot!
Hahahahahahaha! So the pathetic!
There was a live band playing at Sky City's casino so we went for it. The band was nice but the people on dancefloor was shocking! Imagine your parents dancing to Lady Marmalade.
We had so much fun making fun of them. Hehehehe. We're mean.
Nevertheless, it was an experience no doubt. Now I know how we younger generations dance as compared to the older ones. :p

A for Aisle.
My favourite seat selection on an airplane ride. Aisle seats are the best mainly because I get the convenience to get up and walk around the cabin anytime and whenever I like without bothering other passengers. When I was younger, I used to like window seats because I can look out from the airplane and going to the toilet is not a hassle at all (I was a kid so climbing over my parents lap is no problem at all!)
The flight back to Auckland from Melbourne was full. Maybe overbooked. My request for aisle seat was declined and to my horror, they gave me a window seat! Argh! Well, I am actually glad that I didn't share the row with the Chinese tourist. They were everywhere in the plane!!
Anyway, here's some pictures I took.
With my cousin on Bourke Street (I think). There's this Easter parade going on behind us.
Sunset at St. Kilda. It was an Easter Sunday so all shops are closed. We headed to the beach because it never close!
Easter dinner at my cousin's place. What we lack is a pair of candles...
Met up with Meiyinkong and Su Yi. Picture taken at the chocolate place called Max Brenner
Italian gelato! On my cone is Tiramisu, Passionfruit and Durian! On my cousin's are Bailey's, Green Tea and Roche.

Chocolate.
Met up with Su Yi and Mei Yin yesterday. Went for dinner at some Shanghainese noodle house and dessert at Max something. So sinful! Yet delicious. :D
Meeting up with friends at a foreign land is such a nice experience. Talked about the "old times" and I realised that I've forgotten so so so many of those memorable things!
Heading back to the boring land tomorrow. Sigh. Shit maaaan. Holiday is over and assignments are back. No more procrastination!

G'Day Mate.
Greetings from Melbourne!
The weather is colder here as compared to Auckland and I didn't bring enough sweaters! It rained abit in the morning too.
Went to Victoria Market to do some groceries shopping for the steamboat dinner my cousin is preparing tonight. Groceries shopping reminded me of the girls back in Auckland. Auuuww, I miss them so much!!

Drama.

Hello all.
Haven't been posting for almost a week. Heh. Sorry about that. After the hectic week, I totally let myself loose. Mid-term break has officially begun and I am heading to Melbourne on Saturday to do some visiting and shopping! NZ is so pathetic that most of the shopping centres here are the size of Atria.
I opened a chinese wayang tape rental account in a shop near here and rented a set of drama (picture) that I've always wanted to watch. The saddest thing is I waited for almost half a year for them to release it and all it took to finish watching was 4 days.
Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow is reunited as onscreen lovers. I loveeeee Hard Fate solely because of them so the reason for watching this drama is kinda obvious. However, as a matter of factly, the storyline is not all that great. But then again, with Kevin and Niki acting as a couple, who cares about the storyline? Well, not me la... Wooooot wooooooot. Hope they collaborate more in the future! (Besides the fact that they have recorded a duet, modelled for a wedding boutique, catwalked together, received awards and appeared in magazines together).
Here are 2 links for some good stuffs, TVB Magazine and Under the Canopy of Love.

Exhausted.
I am so blardy tired now. The marketing exam I had earlier wore me out to the max. My left arm is aching like mad and I did not do very well for the paper. Sigh.

Surprise.
The internet is surprisingly fast now. Maybe its because they just switched from free to fee!

I like this song. The whole reason for posting it here is because it reminds me of my high school choir. We performed this song at the PIBG Night (I think). Mei Yin Kong, if you are reading this, you remember anything about that choir night?
Choir aside, I found these cool pictures from another blog.

Cool shoes, eh??? I like the 2nd one.
But I have a yellow Le Cog Sportive shoe.
Takkan I need another yellow banana on my feet, right?

Fever.
Was down with fever early yesterday morning. Woke up at 5am and was suddenly freezing from head to toe. The night before I was having diarrhoea and sorethroat. I have no idea how but it just happened. I think I am not supposed to (according to Yi Fan) but I had porridge for lunch and dinner (while the rest had spaghetti bolognese and fettucine cabonara!!)
Slept early yesterday and woke up this morning, feeling much better and recharged. Handed in my Ethics assignment at the campus and borrowed some marketing books to prepare for the exam this Saturday.
This week is so packed. Had to do 1 presentation, 2 essays and 1 exam. Can't wait for Easter break. But I have a marketing plan due when uni reopens so the holiday isn't really a holiday. Was planning to fly over to Melbourne to visit my cousin but since there's this stupid thing to do, I'll have to cancel it.
Oh well.
Life sucks at this moment.
The month of June better come fast! I wanna go hooooooooooooooome!!

Shucks!
I'm almost done with one of my essay. Just need to write about 100 more words. It's actually quite hard you know, especially when you have nothing else to write but you have to write just for the sake of writing. You get what I am writing about?
By the way, I am suffering from slight sorethroat, thanks to the Korean lunch I had earlier. Spicy beef soup and sizzling beef. Padam muka betul. But it was gooooooooood...
Last Saturday was Kate's farewell + birthday party at Brooklyn Bar. We were all there! :D
With Kate on HER day. She's leaving NZ this coming Saturday for her home country, Taiwan. Kesian Yohei. He had to stay here to finish his studies.
With Ah Cheong (yup! I call her that occasionally now). Kononnye an angel. All kena con. This is one devil in disguise!
We performed for Kate! We sang 2 songs and the band (Yohei, Brandon and Yen Ling) sang another 7.

Exhausted.
For some reason, I feel extremely exhausted.
Class was more than sucky today. Did my first ever serious group presentation in uni today and we did badly. Bad enough that we had to re-present it 1 month later. I am not sure about the rest of them but I feel totally frustrated, pissed and useless.
New environment and working with people who I know for only 2 months is really hard. Different cultures made our mentality so different. Ironically, our presentation topic is about cross-cultural environment. Ever since the globalisation class in IACT, I hated cross-cultural so much. And now, it came back to haunt me once again.
Maybe I am more of a follower than a leader. Not that I was acknowledged as a leader for this group work but everyone seemed to be so lost in their own world. Someone has to do the dirty job and I did. And I did it really badly.
Maybe I should take the blame for not putting in enough commitment. Or maybe I shouldn't have taken it for granted and think that it's actually quite easy to do.
I feel so sucky right now but I have 2 more essays to do and 1 exam to prepare for.
Oh, I hate uni.
