Bangkok Jazz.

Bliquers met up at Bangkok Jazz, Chulan Square yesterday night to celebrate Tze Wan's belated birthday and Eric's advance birthday. Together with us were Eddie, Thomas, Carrie and Tze Wyn. Great place, good food, nice environment. Check out the pictures below to see how much fun we had!

Look who is not supposed to be smoking...

That's all for now. Check again 1 week later and you'll most likely see pictures from Taiwan! Till then, have fun folks!

By the way, Jun, Selamat Hari Raya! Will try to sms you from Taiwan if Maxis allow me to do that. :)

Sick.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Dogs Used as Shark Bait. If this is not sick and cruel, I don't know what it is. How can people inflict such pain to animals?! Imagine your own lips pierced by the hook and flung into the ocean. Gosh. These people should be punished the same way they hurt the animals!

Rain.

Rain rain go away. Floods and traffic jams are everywhere. I tell you, Malaysian rain can go on and on and on forever. They can rain, then stop, then rain again, then stop again.

Rain aside, I wanna wish 'Ubi Boobie' a Happy Birthday! Glad you dropped by today. Too bad you couldn't sink your teeth into our delicious cake (which I planned to spend you!) :p

By the way, I just wanna say that I like the song below. No idea how long it was though. We kept playing it in the cafe and somehow I got addicted to it.

Nightmare.

I think I had this nightmare few nights ago. Probably nothing big to you guys-la but if you are a Converse shoe wearer, this is indeed a very bad nightmare!

I dreamed that someone WASHED MY CONVERSE! You know what's sucky about that?! You know that trademark white head on each Converse? It's so freaking white it could light up the room! I was cursing and swearing weih.

I suppose it's balasan for laughing at my cousin's. His maid washed his Converse and he came to my house looking for mud to dirty the shoe. Heh.

Just in case you haven't figured it out, I like the white head of the Converse black. And never ever wash it. :)

Minggy, it's back to you again. Muahahah...

Tahan.

I am trying very hard not to fall asleep. At times like this, I really really need a toothpick each to support my heavy eyelids. Such a boring day! Had half day off yesterday but no one was home! Thought I could have a nice meal at home with my family but all of them decided not to have dinner at home. In the end, I had dinner with my parents in One Utama instead. Not too bad though. At least I get to go out and shop a little. I was so deprived of it! So many changes in OU and I just found out!

We really need to hire more people. At least a full-timer to replace me. :p No life whatsoever! If we had enough employees, we don't have to stay here 12 hours a day! You know, by the time we finish work it's almost 10pm. The only place which is still open is Tesco. Besides shopping for suppplies, there's basically nothing else to buy!

The job is fun (sometimes). It's the working hours that sucks!

Pressured.

Here's a post I was pressured to publish. Not very good news though.

Our Prime Minister's wife, Datin Seri Endon Mahmood had passed away this morning after a nearly four-year battle with breast cancer. Oh well... that's life. When the good man above wants you, he wants you. As a Malaysian citizen, I feel the lost too. May she rest in peace.

Minggy Liu, I am done. Your turn. :)

Blog-less.

I don't know if its just me. It seems like this week is the 'lazy-to-blog-week'. My fellow Bloggers are not updating their blogs either (hint to those I've linked :p). I visit their blogs few times a day and thus contributed quite a lot to their traffic counter. Well folks, time to update!

On my part, I got a new baby on Friday!! My long awaited Sony Ericsson K750i! So precioussssss. So sayang. Bought with my own money, ok!

I need to get a good casing for it. If possible, the one I saw in Hong Kong. This guy was hanging the phone (inside the cool black casing) from his neck. Me and Cyndi was like eyeing the casing from the corner of our eyes while standing inside the MTR! Well, if I can find it, no worries Cyndi Chin, will get one for your baby too.

Actually, you very kacau la. I wanna be unique also cannot. Now we both have the same phone. @#%^&@%

:(

Just when I was so 'hangat' with the whole Taiwan/Hong Kong trip thingy, my mom came and tell me that we're not stopping in Hong Kong afterall. Oh man. It's just gonna be KL-Taiwan-KL. Sigh.

I am disappointed. You sense my disappointment?

22 Days.

That's how long more I have to wait until my Taiwan trip. Deepavali and Hari Raya maah. Hehehehe. Long holiday so my eldest brother planned the trip. My eldest brother, sis-in-law, baby Charmaine, my other brother, his girlfriend, my cousin brother and his girlfriend and 10s of my dad's employees are going together-gether. My parents was supposed to go as well, but my dad changed his mind last minute and decided to go to China (again) instead.

22 days to all the delicious Taiwanese food. Yummy. Hahahahaha.

By the way, I heard from my brother that we're stopping in Hong Kong for a day or two. Yes! Curry fishball and roasted goose rice. Hahahahaha. Yum yum! Cyndi Chin, jangan jeles!

Can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait can't wait

Bliss.

Aaaaaaaaah. Such a great feeling.

For some reason, my brother, Edmond, bought my parents an Osim iSqueeze. Was extremely tired today and the legs of mine was killing me. Even before I was off work, I made up my mind to 'curi' the iSqueeze from my parents room. :p If only I could use the iSqueeze WHILE jacuzzi-ing. That would be super relaxing.

Well, since I can't do that, I figured that iSqueezing while blogging will be just fine. If only my brother bought the Osim iDesire instead. Hahahahaha!!

Green Light.

Wwwwwwoooooohoooooooooooo!!

After weeks of listening to people hanging up on me rudely on the other end of the receiver, I finally got a green light to get a new mobile!! Yaaaaaaay!

At the very beginning, it was the joystick that was giving me problem. That, I can tolerate 'cos they have alternative buttons. Plus, this excuse is not strong enough to convince my 'financier' that I need a new mobile anyway so might as well just live with it. But recently, it got worse. Each call I receive is drowned in heavy static noises. The person on the other side can't hear me at all. I guess my mom got pretty fed-up with it (she's the one who is always hanging up rudely on me :p) that's why she decided to end this problem once and for all.

When I first mentioned that I needed a new mobile few months back, my eldest brother opposed to the max. Well, he always opposed to things I wanna get anyway. I guess my mom and sister in law's complain did the job. He was speechless when I got the green light to get the K750i I was dreaming about.

So folks, the next time I see you, let's take a snapshot with my 2.0 Megapixel camera! :p

Cool.

This is one song that I can play over and over again. By the way, I like this thingy by CastPost. Cool stuff.

^_^

The one thing good about working in a cafe is you get to see all sorts of people from all sorts of walk to life. After days and weeks of looking and attending to uncles, chinese businessmen, ah peks, ah bengs and an annoying customer by the name of William, a good lookie walked in with his sister today. Hahahah.

He is good looking, no doubt. Sat there reading the 'French for Dummies' book and jotted notes. I wasn't really like checking him out or anything la. It's just that he's one of the handful who came in the cafe, picked up a book and jot notes!

Being so different from our usual customers, he deserves a little bit more attention! It'll be interesting if he walks in again in the future :p

Ending.

Mei Yin Kong, minor spoilers ahead! :p

That's it. After 1 week delay, I am finally done with Yummy Yummy.

I wanted to shoot TVB and their scriptwriters. I was so frustrated with the flow of the ending cos the couples in it are so 'po-ma'! Its those 'I-like-you-but-you-like-another' and 'I-am-too-proud-to-admit-I-like-you' kinda things. Ishk.

However, those thingy aside, I have to admit that I do like the ending. I was so anxious, I wanted to fast-forward it straight to the scene which reveals all!

I suppose my favourite character in the show is Charmaine Sheh. Being TVB's 'big sister' and one of the better Miss Hong Kong contestant-turned-actress, her appearence in the show somehow just overshadow her co-stars. She looked so matured as compared to her co-stars, especially Kevin Cheng who was in actual fact 6 years older than her!

Now that I am done, I am on 'chinese-wayang' hunting again. :)

Latte Art (Part 3).

I am back with more latte art!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
See that thingy there that looks like a leaf?

My brother and Wei Hao had may unsuccessful attempts last time and until today, they are still unable to do it. I tried doing it once last time and obviously it didn't turn out. Today was my second try. :) Showed the art to my bro and he was like, "Whoa.. shit!"

Too bad Wei Hao is not working today. This should pressure him abit. Hahahaha!

Dead.

My legs are officially dead. Dead tired. Got home at 3.30am plus this morning and had to wake up at 9am for work. With alcohol still in my bloodstream, I literally dragged myself to work. Before closing, we did an unofficial 'spring cleaning' to the shop. Sweep, mop, wash and all the works. So FREAKING tired!

Coincidentally, both my brother and Wei Hao, our part time barista is celebrating their birthdays tomorrow. Wei Hao is not working tomorrow and we're closing at 7pm. Yay!

Yesterday was the first day Departure Lounge served food. Very very good start! We had 34 customers and made over RM300 sales. Although not much but its the first time for the shop. We were so happy, we danced in the kitchen and named it the 'Departure Lounge Victory Dance'. :p
