Airzed.

Sigh. Here I am in Starbucks Coffee Ikano Power Centre using my Airzed account. Had to get out from my house. Mom had a bunch of friends over there for potluck. Issshhk. Aunties. Thank god there's no mahjong table at home yet or else...

International Marketing class was cancelled today. Apparently, Boon, the lecturer, was down with denggi fever. Haiih... College called but I didn't pick up. Oppps. They didn't bother to call me again!! Blegh. Luckily I asked Cyndi otherwise I'll be like a stupid fool going to college only to be told class is cancelled.

iBook G4 12”

My babyyyyyyy! My little ping guo!

Bad news, there’s no Streamyx connection at my house. Damn. And the prices for every Apple products were raised by RM200, meaning I had to pay more for this baby.

Good news, I have 3 months worth of free AirZed wi-fi.

Moved.

Here we are. The day started at 8am when we did the necessary Chinese culture thingy for blessing and to ward off “things”. The day ended with a family dinner with our relatives and a bunch of good-for-nothing-spoilt-and-useless-kids. Parents! They let loose a bunch of wild hyenas (minus the eating human part) and do nothing about it! @#$^

Mom is definitely a superwoman. She’s responsible for half of the house and that includes the garden, the living room, storerooms, kitchen and her room. She had been working non-stop recently to get the house ready for this big day. You’ll understand how tough it was if you’ve seen the size of the house!

Responsibility.

All my life, I’ve been taught to be responsible for all the things I’ve done. It is not until today that I realise the true meaning behind it.

Responsibility. Today, I’ve made a change. Today, I’ve gathered all my courage to solve the problem. Today, I truly grew up.

It felt better. Much better.

I was guilty. I was stupid. It was the past. Let me learn. Let me forget.

Today, we’ll start anew. Thanks.

Regret.

A certain emptiness once again.

Been doing some thinking lately. Trying to recall all the changes that happened not long ago. The causes and effects. The reasons. The questions. The doubts. The regrets.

I was being stupid and that changed my life. Maybe yours too. I'm trying. Really. I'm trying to make up for it but I can't help feeling like a fool everytime I see you. I feel guilty over the changes that I've caused to both of us.

Tell me, what else can I do? What else do you want me to do?

Barbie Kill.

It was a fun-filled night with food, wine, gambling, and American Idol audition. :p

Chillin' by Tze Wyn's pool.

2 chefs, 1 audience and 1 taster. Yum yum!

Yen Ling, Carrie, Yee Ling (?) and me. We were so paranoid. Scared people dump us into the pool!

Exhausted.

Thank God we are only moving house once. Time is limited. Only 4 days left until the big day. Official time is 8am. @#$% Can't they have a better time? Sigh.

My new room is complete. All the boxes are everywhere and I have yet to find a suitable place to put all my things. Somehow, I feel that my current room is bigger than the new one. For God's sake! How did I manage to hide all the things I have??!

I still need some gadgets for my room. A TV, a DVD/VCD/CD/MP3/JPEG/Radio player, a side-table lamp and a standing lamp. Ohhhh! And a new iBook. Blegh. Suddenly have to spend extra few thousand ringgit for it.

Was up early today. 8am to be exact. Went to the Taman Tun Market to buy some lamb legs for the BBQ at Tze Wyn's place tomorrow. Haih. What to do. My lamb chops are so delicious, people just can't resist and must have 'em for each BBQ! :p

Hehehehe.

New iBook G4. 12inch or 14inch? I can't decide.

Good news is my harddisk is okay so all my stuffs are still inside. Bad news is I can't trade in my iBook G3 but I can sell it off for RM800 to RM999. Damn it. Bought it for almost RM6000 and that's all it is worth on its dying day. @#$%

New iBook G4 comes with an AirPort Card, RM5000 worth of PanGlobal insurance, AirZed account and free Targus (?) bag. Hmmm... quite a bargain. Tried to talk the guy into giving me AppleCare (extra 2 years warranty for Mac. I need all the warranty I can get!) but obviously, he said no. Sigh. Will have to make do with that 1 year PanGlobal and 1 year Apple warranty.

New iBook. Can't wait!

Dead.

That's it. My iBook is officially dead. The motherboard actually. It'll cost me around RM1700 to replace it so my bro suggested that I buy a new laptop. Heh. Dad told me to trade in the iBook and get a new one. Yay! Another iBook? Powerbook maybe? Hehehehe...

I'm still very faithful to Apple regardless of what happened. I'll just consider myself being unlucky with the current one. Now, let just hope I get to on the damn iBook and retrieve all my files.

I know, I know. You PC users out there are laughing at me but what the heck, I get a new laptop and you don't! :p

Woohooo!

Handed up the internship report today. That's it. 3 months of experience and memories all typed and printed and handed up. Didn't make a copy for safekeeping. I mean, I have the softcopy... but all the briefs and excels and powerpoints... sigh...

Seeing everyone back in college is a bit weird. Almost everyone came with a new hairstyle. Priscilla got a baby boy! Hehehehe. She's back in shape really fast. Thin as stick, just like before she got pregnant. Wonder how she did that... I'm sure my sisters-in-law would like to know. Hehehehe..

Broken.

There goes my iBook. It sorta died-ed on me. I can't even on the machine. @#%^ My main concern now are all my stufs inside. No backup!! Almost lost my whole internship report but phew... someone up there likes me. Sent it over to the Apple Centre earlier. Hope nothing big comes up.

That oughta teach him a lesson! How convenient. Reference from my report? You wish. Don't forget, you have a bad bad history of copying people's work. I am not that stupid. Show you my report means another duplicate copy with your name on it. Serves you right for not doing it earlier. Some people just never learn and they have the nerve to come and ask you for it... Can't blame me for being harsh.

Fun.

^ Sigh. Dear brother accidentally off the filter/oxygen supply for the koi. Only 3 is alive now.

^ Su Yi and Ming Hui relaxing on the lazy chair.

^ That's the dining room behind Su Yi and I.

^ That's Su Yi and me inside my closet. It was reaaaaaaaally hot inside there!

^ Three of us inside the 'Hobbit House'. It is actually a store room underneath the staircase. Ming called it the Hobbit House because it has a small door and the room is only about 5'5" tall.

^ Clearer picture of the 'fuk, luk, sau' figurines. I kinda like it.

^ Me and the super huge fridge. If you've been to my new house, you'll know that there's a pantry outside my room and another smaller fridge...

^ My favourite hangout spot. The loo. My loo.

Culture.

It has been a year since my grandmother (mom's mom) passed away. Today, we went back to her house in Klang for some kinda ceremony. Like the usual Chinese culture for the death, we burnt paper offerings for her. Check out the pictures below...

^ New bungalow and Mercedes Benz. For your information, the car comes with a driver and a valid road tax...

^ The fire is burning part of the house and the car. Those yellow-thingy surrounding the house and the car are actually "money".

^ Everything burnt down to ashes. Grandma is supposed to have 'received' the things already...

Another Chinese culture, but nothing gotta do with death. My dad bought these (below) for the new house. These figurines are called 'fuk, luk, sau' in Cantonese. It represents 'prosperity, status (I think) and longevity'. Interesting, isn't it?

Goodies.

What you see here are some of the boxes containing goodies (or junks) we collected throughout the years...

See that Sylvester lying on the chair? It's actually 25 years old and it belongs to my brother. My other brother found the poor cat behind the closet and decided to return it to the rightful owner. Well, the cat is in a very bad condition. All the cotton had been pulled out and it smells really bad. Sigh. Trust a guy with a soft toy...

Deadline.

Who respect deadlines, anyway?

We are supposed to officially move tomorrow but because some people cannot respect deadlines, we are postponing our 'movement' to 25th January. Sigh. They should work in advertising instead of construction. So good at pushing deadlines.......

Clean.

Did some major cleaning up today. Threw away all the unnecessary things and found some stuffs that I've put away for too long. This is how my room looks like now;

^ More space on my table. Took out all the pictures I've placed on the softboard.

^ My almost empty bookshelf.

^ Cleared most of the computer stuffs. 4 of the many boxes on the right.

^ Our family hall a.k.a our storage hall

New Beginning.

Did I just make a big mistake? Did the change just happen and I didn't realise it? It was meant to last forever. It wasn't meant to change... not now. Not anytime soon. Damn. I'm so messed up. Someone, please gimme a whack and blast me back to reality!

It finally hit me today that internship is finally over. No more waking up at 7.30am to get ready. No more breakfast every morning. No more boring 9 hours.

Anyway, my butt was itchy, so I msn-ed my mentor, asking if she's busy... and guess what she replied...

flowerync says: (6:15:01 PM)
   can u come back

flowerync says: (6:15:03 PM)
   im dying

flowerync says: (6:15:05 PM)
   hahahahaha

Oh well......

Went to college to discuss the BBDO Malaysia organizational chart with Li Mei, Jennette and Chin Hooi. Ahhhh... the feeling of being back in college. They got a new librarian. Heh. The bitch is gone. You'll know who I am talking about if you studied in IACT for the past 2 years.
