Reason To Be Happy.

Cold hard cash's gone and all I get is 3 crummy pieces of cardboard-ish paper telling me to redeem the tickets at the box office. Seriously. Why can't they just give me a valid ticket!?

On the side note, I would like to congratulate Emma and Edd. 'lil Emma/'lil Edd in 9 months! Maybe all of us can be the baby's godmother :p

So much for upgrading my seat for my AKL-KL flight in July! Did all the necessary things such as calling MAS and waited for friggin' long for them to sort out my stuffs, charged my credit card for the Enrich transfer and transferring my calls to each related departments but in the end, all I got was a (very) short answer saying "I'm sorry, that cannot be done in any way". Not even when I offered to pay extra. Damn it.

So yea, sorry for dashing your hope and ruining your first time. Regardless, I am sure we can get pretty cosy on economy ;)

New Moon hasn't even started filming yet and they are already talking about Eclipse, the third movie! And there is a release date too - 30 June 2010. Eclipse was my favourite book out of the saga so I hope they don't screw up the movie adaptation.

Despite all, I am still kinda looking forward to watch Edward Cullen the movies :D

Don't you just hate it when people just go AWOL on you without the courtesy to even informing and thus derails your plan for the rest of the day? Dude, please have some responsibility!

So yea, smack me in the face the next time I tell you I hired a part-time crew. And while I am at this, do let me know if someones wants a FULL-time job.

Change Of Mind.

For the past few months I've been dreading Fridays and Saturdays because I work for 15 hours straight. Since last week, I realised Fridays and Saturdays could be fun, if I know what I can do.

Ever since coming back from Auckland, I never really have the opportunity to cook anymore simply because my family do not want to eat student food. I miss the days when I could cook for 8 people on almost everyday of the week. I enjoy every single minute of shopping for groceries and cooking for my housemates! (Salt war!)

Now with a proper kitchen in the cafe, I could begin to cook again. Fridays and Saturdays are the perfect days for me to play 'mother' to my brother and sis-in-law. 3 to 4 dishes are just too simple to whip up!

More Moolah.

I don't know if I should blame the ongoing MAS Travel Fair for my current situation. Just spent RM2600 for my return air tickets to Auckland on July (!!!). This time around I won't be spending lots of time in Auckland as I've planned to head south to the city of wind, Wellington as well as to Melbourne, Australia.

3 years ago, I upgraded my AKL-KL ticket from economy to business class. After that redemption, I painstakingly accrued my MAS frequent traveler mileage to the current 27,617. I am perfectly ok with economy class until someone decided to con her mom for extra mileages for business class upgrade. Because of you, now I'll have to con my dad's.

That Special Feeling.

I gave out red packets for the first time today. Before you come knocking on my door demanding angpau from me, let me explain that it was simply a token of appreciation for my staffs' help and hard-work throughout the year. A little money to ensure they don't trash my shop while and when I am away!

No wonder some people enjoy giving out angpau. It's a special feeling!

I'm back from my CNY vacation 2 days ago but sad to say that I lost the war and now is at home, sick and woozy. Just so you know, I am fighting against a recurring headache and fever to post an update. I will of course post up photos (either here or FB) to satisfy your curiosity once I get better.

Ok. Now my screen is spinning. Have to hit the sack before I faint. Ugh.
